On Sunday, October 10, Hillsboro Police officers responded to a robbery call at the Chevron gas station at 7499 NE Imbrie Drive. Over the course of the robbery, which occurred around 1:21 pm, the suspect had fired at least one round from his handgun. It’s unknown whether there were any injuries but none are reported. The suspect, described as a black male in his mid-20s to mid-30s, wearing gray pants, green t-shirt and a red sweatshirt, fled in his vehicle which was a black 2013 Nissan Rogue with Mississippi plates, PRG1454. The Police Department is seeking information on this case but cautions that the suspect is considered armed and dangerous and should not be contacted or confronted.
