Musical Event Set At Walters Center To Raise Funds For Fire Victims

On March 12th, 2022, some local musicians are joining the Westside Singers to out on a fantastic concert aimed at raising funds for the victims of the Weil Arcade Fire.ย  The effects of the fire have been shaking the downtown Hillsboro community since January 2nd, each day bringing new challenges and new impacts.ย  This event is one of several aimed at raising funds and helping by raising funds.

Local Farmers Insurance agent Elizabeth Heirtzler, has her offices at 149 SE 3rd Avenue, knows all too well what this fire has done.ย  Instead of watching the outcome, she has taken up the challenge by sponsoring this event at the Walter Cultural Arts Center with the proceeds going to the Hillsboro Community Fund which is doing the best they can to distribute money to those affected.ย  ย We commend Elizabeth and look forward to this event; we need more of this sort of community action to help all those involved.

Enjoy local artists such as Jack Stern, Bill Hernandez, and the Miss Behavin’s along with the Westside Singers, while supporting those affected by the tragic Weil Arcade fire.

Dessert will be served with a suggested donation

100% of proceeds for the Hillsboro Foundation’s Fire Relief Fund
