It has been two long years since the Hillsboro 4th of July Parade has happened.  So this year, the Hillsboro Rotary was not taking no for an answer, and the 2022 Parade is on like Donkey Kong.  The parade in our town has been a regional favorite for eons.  The parade has it all, from fire trucks to bands and ponies to floats.

Right now, entries are open to anyone wanting to enter anything into the parade, including individuals, corporations, groups, and anyone or anything that can walk crawls, hop, ride, or motor down the streets of the old town!

The 2022 Hillsboro 4th of July Parade Route

Bob Rollinger, a local realtor, is organizing the event this year.  He indicated the need for marshalls to work inside the parade route to protect onlookers and parade participants as crossings are made.  To sign up, you can contact the Hillsboro Rotary (see below).  Marshalls get the best view of the Parade, and anyone can sign up to help so jump in and do what you can.  That can be in front of your home or business.

We encourage you all to come out and to also enter.  Anyone who has a cool idea, a truck, a collector car, wagon, some fun walking partners, a band, or just anout anything should enter.  Here is the link to get registrered!

The Herald hopes ot enter something – we shall see.  Either way we will be there ready to make this the best 4th of July ever!!! See you all there.

Any chance you have access to the line-up for the Parade? We are interested in the entry by the Daughters of the American Revolution. Thanks
