The Hillsboro Rotary 4th of July Parade attracts tens of thousands of spectators every year from near and far to Hillsboro, Oregon. This requires a lot of work and some funds. Few towns have an event like this in the US, which is definitely the top in Oregon!ย  To make all of that happen, the Hillsboro Rotary activates some serious resources.ย  Every year, human power and financial capital are needed to make this amazing event happen, and tonight is your chance to grab a glass of beer, wine, or your favorite non-alcoholic beverage and do your part!

The Hillsboro Herald is as committed to our community as anyone. Part of our role as a major media outlet is magnifying the good work that this amazing group of people and the Rotary are doing. We share this information to get people out tonight and to raise some funds! Here is the 411 from one of the hard-working organizers, Andrea Roediiger!

“Thereโ€™s a silent auction TONIGHT at Noble Hop! We have some great donations, live music, a 50/50 raffle, wine wall, and more!!! The auction is to support the Hillsboro Rotary 4th of July 5k, which is replacing the CAT Walk that used to exist. The run is a fundraiser for the Hillsboro Rotary Foundation, which provides scholarships to local high school students, community initiatives such as mobile mammography, and more!”
