Those who use the north-south 205th Avenue/John Olsen Avenue corridor to travel between W. Baseline Road in northern Aloha and the AmberGlen and Tanasbourne districts in northeastern Hillsboro should note an upcoming closure that will temporarily affect this arterial.

The Oregon Department of Transportation has determined repairs are necessary in order to avoid a decreased weight limit on the bridge carrying 205th Avenue over Beaverton Creek between W. Baseline Road and NE Quatama Street. The construction project will require both the road and pedestrian bridge to close beginning Nov. 2, 2020. During the closure, traffic will be detoured via NE Quatama Street, NE Cornelius Pass Road, and W. Baseline Road. The expected completion date is Nov. 20 but this is subject to change.

For more information, visit the project webpageย or contact the Washington County Department of Land Use & Transportation atย lutops@co.washington.or.us or 503-846-ROAD (7623).
