The Real Story- A Column

If you live in a place long enough, you get to know a lot of things about it.  Where people like to eat, the nasty traffic intersections, when school buses start moving through your block, and how many times a day, or a week, or even a year, you might experience a Military Drone or a low-flying Chopper buzzing your home.  For instance, it is 9:58 PM at my house right now, and a chopper has flown over pretty damn low 3 times in the last 15 minutes.  And you know what, folks?  I have been here 60+ years, and I am calling #Bullshit! What so many of us have been seeing, feeling, and living with the past two plus weeks is happening- is NOT Normal, and is all harassment by a tyrant President who is upset because he can’t find a burning city.  Not in Portland, not here, nowhere in Oregon.  And the harassment we are experiencing is designed to pick a fight, turn up the heat, and get a reaction.  Short of seeing it for what it is, calling it out, I am not moved, afraid, or amused.  It is, as I said, just childish #Bullshit.  Helicopter Harassment In Hillsboro Causing Event Cancellation & Unrest

Chopper Case #1:  Was This An Inspection?

Tuesday Night, many of us at First Tuesday Artwalk saw a Hillsboro Aviation Chopper so low that it could have clipped the top of the Sequoias at the Courthouse.  I filmed it on my way to the City Council meeting, and I had some cheeky comments.  In 60 years of living here and having a close relationship with the FAA in Hillsboro, I have never seen a chopper fly this low that was not landing somewhere.  They were flying over mainly government buildings- and seemed to be focused on the Washington County Jail, the Hillsboro City Hall, the Courthouse, the Washington County Public Services building, and some sites to the West.  The bottom line?  I filmed it at 6:45 PM and posted it for comments.  When I got home from the meeting, I saw that Chopper had raised the hackles of many people.

Low Flying Helicopter In Hillsboro, Oregon

The Washington County Scanner Facebook page does an excellent job of tracking various events and emergencies in Washington County. Minutes after I posted, they pinned it down, posting this comment.

https://www.facebook.com/WashCoScannerOregon

They posted, and their followers began to comment.  One of the Benjamin Monjay was able to verify where the flight went.   See his comment below:

Benjamin Monjay

They took off and circled in the following order.
National guard building-
Fair complex-
Courthouse-
Public Service building-
Jail-
Lut complex-
Animal shelter-
Sheriff precinct on Blanton–
Turned around at Beaverton high School-
Circled sheriff’s office on Murray-
Election office on Aloclek-
Landed back at airport-
All County Buildings?  Elections offices?  And later came word that this was for “Roof Inspection”.  Hmm…. really?  We perform roof inspections regularly with commercial drones, not helicopters.  Drones with FLIR cameras and LIDAR.  So, excuse me if I don’t buy this one.  Yes, I checked.  Hillsboro Aviation said this was a roof inspection job for a Client.  I have not, so far, been able to obtain the name of the said client, and Washington County has not returned my emails.  But let’s say this pilot basically scared and upset a lot of folks in the evening, flying at treetop level, filming roofs.  I still want 100% confirmation from the “Client”.

Case #2:  The Seattle Times Reports:  Ice Black Hawks Are Flying Out of Hillsboro

Well, this is not a roof inspection.  The Seattle Times has reported that ICE Black Hawks have flown out of Hillsboro Airport, the exact location where the Hillsboro Aviation Chopper operates.  See the links to the story and the Facebook Page below.

Blak Hawk Helicopters in Hillsboro, Oregon are being flown all over the area with ICE in town. Read the stroy at the Seattle Times – https://www.seattletimes.com/seattle-news/northwest/government-helicopters-rattles-neighbors-around-portland-ice-office/?utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=owned_echobox_f&utm_source=Facebook&fbclid=IwY2xjawNVbPNleHRuA2FlbQIxMQABHjWWRxj8b8neoe-WwJOyOoAUKPU0JxbGLa84Qo-DJ9fisBYVApyeAccDs4lZ_aem_o1Dw2-RyHQtmwdMRV-tj5A#Echobox=1759328862

Not long after that post, we see the news from the Port of Portland.

Case 3:  The Block Party Is Now Cancelled-This weekend’s Community Event, Where Choppers Were Going To Be Displayed, is cancelled-

Something has occurred in the last 24-48 hours that has led to the cancellation of the much-anticipated annual Block Party, which was scheduled to take place at the Hillsboro Airport.  Here is what the post said.

https://www.facebook.com/share/p/178sXcJJGu/ Interact and comment on this post at the City of Hillsboro’s Facebook Page-

Basically the Port of Portland is indicating that the Hillsboro Airport has become an inhospitalble place, is not safe, and their staff do not feel safe in hosting this event.  With the way Homeland Security is acting here in Portland, it is understandable.  The situation has become threatening, just like this Chopper incidents, and there is no point in bringing our Community to an event under these circumstances.  The City of Hillsboro also posted about the cancellation.  This is a big deal- sad really.

Case #4 – Military Drones Over Winco in Hillsboro?

I am going to leave this one right here.   Nikki lives by WINCO-  sees actual Military Drones, and then gets the same low flying buzzing that I had tonight and at the Tuesday night filming I did of “Roof Inspections”.

Is something happening or is this all disconnected?  Yes, it is happening.  We are being subjected to threats, harassment, and a psycholigical game that is costing us all Millions, all so an insecure government and small minded man can feel big.  Well, I say stand tall folks, speak up, speak out, and hope that some one in our local leadership stands up and calls this out.  It is what it is, it is going to pass, and it is #Bullshit and needs to be called out as such!

Now it’s your turn!  Speak out and speak up below in our comments section.

We have seen and heard the helicopters nightly over our home in Beaverton. It is loud and a very unnecessary incursion into our community.

Yet another Helicopter flying remarkably and dangerously low over residential area, estemated at LESS THAN 500 FEET, proceeding to Hillsboro airport. Numerous low-level flights over past two weeks, now increasing. No explanations provided from any local, county, state, federal, medical or emergency services to explain this. There are no threats to anyone in peaceful Hillsboro, Oregon to justify this outrageous and dangerous behavior. We fear the worst from callous ICE or related agencies who now with impunity. Is there any accountablility from any of the above-stated juristictions?

I have asked all local leaders- no one is responding. I really think Fear is crippling all of our leaders and that is unacceptable. I give points to Beach Pace for standing up with other Mayors on the National Guard – but we need all of them answering us and going after the FAA, local pilots and people like Hillsboro Aviation and anyone who allows choppers or planes or drones to fly too low!

      Thanks and keep speaking up!

Thank you for your reports and your comments about what is going on. We MUST have 3.5% of Americans can NO to this administration. That percentage or 11M people is the tipping point to flip the paradigm. We MUST stand up for the rights of everyone in this country, for our constitution, and for our democracy.

Again, flying back and forth in a grid pattern all afternoon over Cooper Mountain, Aloha, Beaverton. Nothing in the flight tracker matched what I witnessed in real time. This action combined with using predator drones tells me they are launching their spyware well beyond the ICE building now. The lack of public access is further proof. Noem is probably making the many recently imported kidnappers sleep on the concrete too so she can be a whore on 2 fancy jets instead of just 1. You know…the guys you see every time you pull into a store parking lot or drive near a school in our more diverse neighborhoods. The time is now, people!
