Hillsboro Farmers’ Markets Invites the Community to the Winter Market

HILLSBORO, Ore. — Hillsboro Farmers’ Markets (HFM) invites the community to shop local and stay connected all winter long at the Hillsboro Winter Market. The Winter Market brings together local farmers, food makers, and artisans for a warm, community-centered shopping experience—making it easy to stock up on seasonal produce, pantry staples, and handcrafted gifts while supporting small businesses.

Winter Market schedule: Saturdays, February 7–March 21, 9:00 AM–1:00 PM, at the Civic Center Plaza in Downtown Hillsboro.

For vendor highlights, updates, and additional details, visit https://hillsboromarkets.org/winter-market.

A Winter Market Built for Community

For more than 40 years, Hillsboro Farmers’ Markets has created gathering places where neighbors can meet the people who grow and make their food. The Winter Market continues that tradition with a curated mix of local vendors and a welcoming atmosphere that reflects HFM’s mission: strengthening community health and economic growth by connecting Hillsboro with local farms and small businesses.

“Winter is a great time to keep shopping local,” said Destin, Executive Director of Hillsboro Farmers’ Markets. “The Winter Market helps our community stay connected to the farmers and makers we love—while keeping dollars in our local economy.”

Shop the Market—Then Explore Downtown Hillsboro

This season, Hillsboro Farmers’ Markets is partnering with the local business community to encourage shoppers to make a full day of it in Downtown Hillsboro. HFM is reaching out to nearby restaurants, retailers, and service providers to gather Downtown Deals—special coupons and offers available for Winter Market shoppers.

Shoppers can pick up Downtown Deals at a table inside the market, then head out to explore Downtown Hillsboro—discovering local favorites, trying something new, and supporting the small businesses that make our community thrive.

Shop Local. Eat Well. Support Food Access.

Hillsboro Farmers’ Markets is committed to making fresh, local food accessible to all. SNAP/EBT is accepted at HFM markets, helping more families enjoy local produce and products.

This is great news! I always appreciate when local initiatives like the Farmers’ Market continue through the winter months. It’s such a vital way to keep fresh, local food accessible even when the weather is cold. Are there any specific vendors or types of produce you’re highlighting for the February opening?
