Tonight in downtown Hillsboro, a big event is marking the beginning of something big.  And it is a night of celebration for the Hillsboro Food Co-op and the community they seek to serve- which is all of Hillsboro and beyond!  This is your chance for some food and fun as the Block 67 Party happens to touch off the future home of the grocery Cooperative!  The Herald has the 411 and everyone is invited.

🌟 Hillsboro Food Co-Op Block 67 Party & Neighborhood Cleanup 🌟

📍 Location: 645 SE Baseline St, Hillsboro, OR 97123

This family-friendly celebration is open to everyone—members, neighbors, friends, and the whole community.

What to Expect:

  • 🎉 Block Party Fun – games, prizes, and family activities

  • 🍴 Free Local Food – the first 100 attendees receive a free meal + drink from local food truck Comida Kin, sponsored by Block 67 developer, Koz

  • 🧹 Neighborhood Cleanup (Optional) – we’ll be cleaning the surrounding neighborhood (since Block 67 is already maintained by the city). From 6:30–7:00 PM, join us in putting our co-op values into action with boots on the ground! This is about showing our presence, meeting neighbors, answering questions, and engaging with the community. Limited to 40 participants; advance registration required

  • 🎟 Raffle Prizes – every attendee gets a ticket! Earn bonus tickets by joining the cleanup, signing up as a new member, or donating $20+

  • 🪑 Bring Your Own Chair – if you can

Ways to Get Involved:

  • 🙌 Volunteer Teams – help with event set-up or take-down

  • 🏷 Information Booth – members are invited to help staff the booth, educate neighbors, and spread the word about the Co-op

  • 💌 Invite Your Network – bring friends, family, and coworkers to share in the celebration and build awareness

Tickets Are Free, and those coming are asked to RSVP right here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/block-67-party-neighborhood-cleanup-tickets-1549769806209?aff=oddtdtcreator&fbclid=IwY2xjawMVbkJleHRuA2FlbQIxMQABHsRydPiYtvKvf5MCxkvyvJVueneoK5FtVGxzi1BG79Ols4nbgXsT99HuURtU_aem_7dMSUgO219CD5zDVJHuN9A
