This weekend, the Hillsboro, Oregon, Holiday Tree will be lit in the Tom Hughes Civic Center Plaza.  Located between 1st and 2nd Streets on Main Street, the Tree will be set ablaze with lights at 6 PM, Saturday, November 18th.  The annual event is getting bigger every year, and this should be the biggest ever in terms of attendance.  Expect thousands to be there.
