The Hillsboro Downtown Partnership is so proud to support the Westside Queer Resource Center for this year’s Pride Block Party! They are turning up the joy in the heart of downtown, and you’re invited to join the festivities!

What is Pride?

Pride is more than just a celebration; it’s a profound act of courage. Pride exists because for a long time, the world demanded silence. Choosing to be seen isn’t just about self-expression; it’s a signal to those still in the shadows that a vibrant, safe future is possible.

We stand on the shoulders of those who turned a riot into a movement. Pride is the annual “thank you” to the pioneers who fought for the right to exist without apology.

To celebrate pride we will have live performances to local makers, there is something for everyone at this family-friendly little celebration of love and community.
