There is not doubt that the Hillsboro Rotary 4th of July Parade is one of the biggest in the West!  The event has been an annual favorite in Hillsboro, Oregon, since 1926.  This year the Parade will help the Rotary celebrate the organization’s 100th year of service to our community. You can find out more about this terrific group here – https://hillsbororotary.org/.

Tens of thousands will be watching as hundreds of floats and entries roll through the streets of the old downtown area.  Candy will be tossed from the floats, and children and old-timers alike will be ready!   Getting to the Parade Route takes some planning so be prepared to go early or take the MAX Train, walk, or bike in.

Here is a screenshot of the Parade Route, which starts promptly at 10 AM.

Last year was a huge hit- this year should be too.  The Parade takes about 1 hour, and it will get hot, so make sure to bring some fluids.  Some of the businesses in downtown will be open, and the fountains at the City Hall will be flowing, so it will be a fun time to cool off as well.  We hope to see you all there and we wish you all a safe and happy 4th of July!
