UPDATE:  As this story spread across the Country yesterday, Elon Musk’s name was mentioned as being the party who is looking to buy Intel.  That spun out speculation of a multi-faceted deal in this article https://wccftech.com/elon-musk-reportedly-emerges-as-a-potential-intel-buyer/.   Boy what a world we live in.

This morning, Yahoo News posted an article Intel Shares Jump on Report It’s an Acquisition Target .   Their story was short and referenced that this AM purchases of Intel Stock were spiking a run on the value of the beleaguered tech giant.   The original story was posted on a tech news site called Semi-Accurate.

Sources Say Intel Is An Acquisition Target

In the article this AM by Charlie Demerjian, the writer tells the history of this news and how his sources are credible and are now at a point where an email he has seen is 100% accurate.

From the article:

Because it is very hard to believe it but once again, SemiAccurate has 100% confidence that the original email was real and that it said the company in question wanted to acquire Intel whole. This mystery company has the resources to pull it off, especially at Intel’s current valuation too.

Soon, the company’s name mentioned in the article will be public.  And Demerjian is saying this is a complete takeover- not just a company like Qualcomm buying a part of the company. Market Watch did a deep dive on who the possible suitors could be and the fact that this might be a rumor to bump stock values.

Intel rumors here in Hillsboro, Oregon-

Living in Orenco Station is sometimes a source of interesting information. I have often heard executives from Intel and other tech players openly talking about big deals and developments while dining at the Orenco Station Grill or one of the other watering holes here. Last week, while grabbing a beer at Schmizza Public House, I talked with a guy who was here for a few days for meetings.  We discussed Intel and their woes, and he mentioned he worked with NVIDIA.  The AI Chip giant has offices in Hillsboro. I will leave that conversation right there.

Hillsboro has a lot of tech, and speculation about Intel is all over the board.  But the source of this information that broke this AM is most definitely an insider.  He may have had a beef with Intel over the years, but he has a record of getting inside information, and as a result, his article stirred investors to grab stock, looking for the values to run.

One thing we know is that Ronler Acres Fab is not going anywhere.  And it seems time for someone else to have a shot at running Intel.  A new buyer would potentially get a deal on a lot of technology, FABS, and tech employees.   This could get very interesting very fast.

All of your Intel insiders and employees out there- please comment below or email us at hillsboroherald@gmail.com – all information sent to us will be kept anonymous, and we also take calls anonymously at 503-799-8383.

So as I recall Intel recently has been awared 10.86 Billion from two Chip Acts and has plans to invest 100 Billion in the U.S. Now a “Mysterious” company is discussing buying ALL of Intel.
Pathetic with that mojo that INTC can’t get its own act together.

Intel and Biden’s people were not getting along- They thought they had all the power in that relationship. We should have landed a NSTC Center in Hillsboro. We have only Intel to blame for that. No one from Joe’s team wanted to play nice with the hard-ass in the room (Intel) who over estimates their value to the Chips economy which they are quickly being left behind in the dust.
