Last evening, I had the opportunity to meet with a great friend for dinner at the Rogue Pub in downtown North Plains. My friend and I were elated by the sights and sounds awaiting us there. In the pub’s outside seating area, the excellent band, DP (Doug Plies) and the Beerbacks, was contributing maximum vitality and energy to the scene along with musical chops. The diners in attendance were having a grand old time. Tables are appropriately and commendably spaced apart in compliance with social distancing guidelines. However, these necessary distancing measures also mean eateries and pubs like the Rogue are enduring notably reduced seating capacity which can affect the businesses’ bottom lines. Whether it’s dine-in or take-out, I encourage folks to patronize your local restaurants and pubs as you are able.
