Ok, everybody!ย  Was your weekend too hot, or maybe not quite what you were hoping for?ย  Or maybe it was amazing and you just want to keep the fun rolling?ย  Well, in the wake of the amazing LaStrada Chalk Art Festival in Hillsboro, Oregon, this past weekend, we have some special news!!ย  The finished Chalk Art in all of its collective glory is still there for you all to see!ย  You have all day on Monday, 7-22-24 to get to Downtown Hillsboro and have a nice uncrowded viewing and enjoy the event footprint with no cars!

Ride, Walk, take the MAX, drive, and parkโ€”however you get there, this is well worth seeing! The event was a very big success, and Monday is a bonus day for those who just don’t like the crowds. The food venues and many of the shops and stores will be open, so come check it out. There is a lot to do, and the weather will be just perfect!

See you all there!

There will be a Monday Chalk Art Strollto create a draw for residents and visitors to
see the art, dine, and shop on what is traditionally a lighter traffic day. The Monday
experience also allows health-concerned community members to stroll Downtown
without the bustle of high-density crowds.
โ€ข The power washing for safe artwork removal will begin on Monday evening July 22,
instead of overlapping with the post-event dinner rush and pedestrian traffic on
Sunday evening. Although the Festival itself will have concluded Sunday evening, this
schedule creates multiple benefits for business activity, safety, and community
engagement.
โ€ข Affected streets will re-open to vehicle traffic by 10:00am Tuesday, July 23
following a final street sweep.
