The Real Story – A Column
Just a short post from the Hillsboro, Oregon, #NOKINGS Rally 10-18-25. Here is some aerial and Crowd Video of the NO KINGS rally today in Hillsboro, Oregon, which was a peaceful protest where citizens of all ages came together in protest. A Crowd of about 4,000 gathered to line many blocks of TV Highway and show solidarity against any Governmental actors, the White House, or anyone who seeks to violate the US Constitution, the laws of the USA, or step on the good old Red, White, and Blue. Great job to #Hillsboro #Indivisible and all who seek #Peace, #Liberty, #FreedomOfExpression, # FreedomOfSpeech, and the pursuit of the #AmericanDream.
NO KINGS – MAGNA CARTA – THE POWER OF THE PEOPLE
Every American should remember that the roots of our freedom run far deeper than the Constitution itself. Long before Philadelphia, there was Runnymede—where in 1215 a group of ordinary English barons stood up to a king and declared that no one, not even a monarch, stood above the law. That spirit became the heartbeat of the Magna Carta, and from it, centuries later, the United States Constitution was born.
The No Kings Rally is not just another protest—it’s an act of remembrance and renewal. When citizens of Hillsboro, Oregon—farmers, tech workers, teachers, veterans, Democrats, Republicans, and Independents—came together today to say no to tyranny and yes to accountability, they were breathing life into the very documents that define who we are. The Constitution is not a museum piece; it is a living promise that power comes from the governed, not the governors.
In that sense, thousands of us lining TV Highway, waving handmade signs, and standing shoulder to shoulder with people who may vote differently, is as American as it gets. It’s the same flame that burns in country music ballads about freedom, in the roar of college football crowds singing the anthem, and in the courage of soldiers who fought under the red, white, and blue.
To say “No Kings” is to say “We the People.”
It’s a declaration that no politician, no corporation, no party, and no crown—foreign or domestic—will ever own this republic. Hillsboro’s 4,000 voices joined millions more across the nation today to remind the world that liberty does not live in silence.
This is patriotism at its purest: peaceful, united, and fiercely independent—the kind of spirit that gave us both the Magna Carta and the American dream. Today, many citizens from all political parties joined up and spoke up. The most American thing we can all do- just like we did to the British, as Americans, when they were killing our children, sacking our homes, and murdering thousands of us. We stood up to that old King and let him have it. Never again…never again.
Whan artists like Jack Nelson and Zach Bryan start coming to the party, it’s time for us all to rally. Have a nice night, everyone! #NOKINGS
