There is a new girl in town. And a country girl to boot! A savvy business owner with a flair for design has moved her business to Main Street and with her comes some cool country fun!ย  ย Historic Downtown Hillsboro is the new home of Rustic Rendition and the work of N & J Byrd Designs.ย  The J is Jassandra Byrd, a local girl here in the Valley, and she hails from Banks, Oregon.ย  The country is in all of her beautiful and creative home decor creations and with one step inside we were smiling!

The store is located at 211 E Main St. Hillsboro, OR 97123. They are now open with hours of:

Monday – Thursday 10:30AM-5:30 PM
Friday & Saturday 10AM – 6PM
Website is: https://rusticrendition.com/

Jassandra smiled as we talked about her designs and her messaging.ย  Much of her work is created in her home shop in Banks with other items she sells being procured from a list if vendors she trusts.ย  The slogan of the company is “Bring New Life to Things left Behind“ which I personally love.ย  One visit to my home shop in Orenco will prove that fact beyond a shadow of a doubt.ย  She has another slogan online on the website which is “Cuz It Makes You Happy”.ย  Both are slogans that might be the best 2021 mantra we can think of.
We went to the store and saw all of her creations and we did smile, and smile big!ย  Before we left we had a new friend in Jassandra, a big design piece for the real estate office, and we celebrated a new business opening up.ย  Her store is in part of the original Delta Drug building which is owned by the Jensen Law Firm who had been trying to lease the space to someone who would attract business and be a good fit along Main.ย  They appear to have hit a home run here!
There are many reasons to visit downtown Hillsboro and Rustic Renditions is now one of them.ย  Join us in celebrating with them and with all the businesses and eateries that continue to fight on against the pandemic.ย  Without all of you consumers and supporters, many of them simply will not make it.
