Some big news was released last week regarding Operation Homeless Connect and its new Access Center on SE 6th Street near TV Highway.ย  The 3-story center will provide various services to those needing help.ย  The new center, built from revenues from the Supportive Housing Services tax program, will allow PHC to expand its existing programs and offer a library, lobby, kitchen, offices, and space for those needing medical, dental, behavioral health, and social services.

This is a big step in the long-term battle to fight homelessness and to support those who suffer from the causes and effects.ย  Project Homless Connect is a local non-profit and has been serving people in need since 2006.ย  Read more below about this new project – we repost the news release from the PHC website.

Empowering individuals experiencing homelessness byย meeting them where they areย and walking with them on their unique journeys towardย stabilityย andย self-reliance. – Project Homeless Connect Mission Statement

NEW 3-STORY ACCESS CENTER COMING SOON!

Thanks to the pivotal Supportive Housing Services Measure, approved by voters, weโ€™re excited to announce the construction of a new Access Center adjacent to our beloved yellow house!

This upcoming center represents a significant expansion in our ability to support our houseless neighbors and program participants. With increased space, weโ€™ll be able to better accommodate the number of individuals we see on a daily basis. Additionally, our designs for the new center include dedicated spaces for external service providers to offer on-site care, such as medical, dental, behavioral, and social services. Weโ€™re eager to see this collaborative hub of assistance and resources truly flourish in the new space.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has contributed to making this project a reality, with special thanks to Washington County and the City of Hillsboro. Stay tuned for updates as this project progresses, and take a moment to admire the beautiful renderings of this new build!

PHC helped me when the corrupt city officials of Hillsboro smiled for cameras and lied about helping me.

I lived in my truck for 5 months or so in Hillsboro. I am disabled with mobility issues and pain that flares up. PHC helped me fuel my truck, replace my radiator, provided a phone and service, paid a deposit for my apartment in Tigard and helped furnish my apartment. They helped me find my apartment and get everything approved.

Willow Grace was great. An amazing person. As were many others. PHC really gets people where they need to be when they put in the effort and for that I am grateful.

Now for the corrupt and lying, Intel and Hops owned city officials, filth. Absolute worthless filth..

Meanwhile, people desperately struggling to make it paycheck to paycheck and dealing with severe depression and anxiety don’t get any help at all.

I hope the area can be clean and safe. I feel like a few people ruin it for folks who need real help.

I lost my entire family to death, including my soulmate of 17 years and then my “NON-LEGAL ESTRANGED DAUGHTER”, has managed to MANIPULATE all EMPLOYEES of: PHC in Hillsboro Oregon as well as, everywhere else your employees are located, giving them the false information about who I am, so in turn, they have REFUSED to Do WHATEVER it takes, to keep me safe, from this female child, whom by the way…. Put a TARGET on my head back in 2015, with her, then, pimp, drug dealer, gang banger boyfriend and everyone she has met, since. Due to PHC’s lack of concern for my safety, I was; ” DRUGGED”, “RAPED”, and “ROBBED” of $1,000. Plus dollars, on OCTOBER 30th, 2024. Still….. NO HELP!!!!!
