Cooling Resources and Options are listed below from the City of Hillsboro.  Many of us are lying low and just trying to get through this.  Please check on your neighbors, the elderly, and those in poor health.  These historic heat events are not that rare anymore, and all of our policies need to address this obvious fact. Stay safe everyone!

Excessive Heat Warning Thursday through Tuesday

The National Weather Service predicts temperatures from 90 to 110 degrees starting Thursday, July 4, with the hottest temperatures expected Friday through Sunday. Get the latest forecast.

The National Weather Service predicts temperatures from 90 to 110 degrees, with the peak heat expected Friday through Sunday.

Safety is our top priority during these heat waves and fire conditions. Find a map of overnight shelters, indoor cooling centers, water dispensers, and spraygrounds.

A High-Fire Danger Burn Ban is also in place for Washington County.

    Alright Corruptaway, I mean Callaway, I have an idea!

    If big parking lots are causing heat then why don’t you pay Intel to build more buildings instead?!

    My research says that should help make our city more livable and bring in more chemicals……money.. I meant it will bring in more money. For the greater good and all.
