Bring your friends and families, your neighbors, or come alone.  However you decide to show up, you are guaranteed a great time, food, music, and event at Hillsboro Tuesday Night Market.  This event is the “Big One” in the West Valley and is now well known for the crowds’ size and the event’s quality.  Every Tuesday from this week forward through August 27th, the Tuesday Night Market will be putting on a street party like no other.  Seriously, folks, this year promises to be very special.

Take the MAX, walk, bike, drive in, and park- all great ways to get there.  Besides the event itself, the Downtown scene is alive and thriving with all your favorite legacy shops and eateries and many new additions.  Hit the streets, enjoy music, the awesome car show on the 2nd, and the vendor’s booths, and settle into a nice evening.  Stay after and try the new Weil Arcade Food Park, Backwoods Brewing and the new rooftop deck, Ranch PIzza, Skywater Wines, Pizzario, D’Anu Wine Bar, Top Burmese, LaMixteca Oaxaca, Blue Ox Axe Throwing Pub, and more.  The downtown merchants support these events, and this is the community they have built for all of us to enjoy, so shopping downtown is a big help to all of them.  Do so if you can.  Now- here is all the 411.

Thank you Dirk for mentioning many of the Downtown Hillsboro businesses that support the Tuesday Night Market – this market was created by the merchants to bring people downtown to enjoy not just the Market but hopefully get some new & old customers to support the businesses in Downtown. It’s not just the restaurants and drinking establishments, but also the retail businesses that look forward to having shoppers visit their shops as well. It’s a great event and we look forward to an amazing 2024 season!

Yes!! People don’t realize this event comes at a cost to the stores that made it happen! People need to come, enjoy, and SHOP while they are here! That is how this becomes a win win for everyone!

It feels worth mentioning the wisest move the Downtown Partnership made this year: Holding a market on the 18th when a whole lot of people have the day off for Juneteenth on the 19th.

They did this a couple of years back on a July 3 Tuesday, and it was the most jammed I’ve ever seen the market. They shut it down for July 4 one year and I still think that was the wrong move.

P.S. ALWAYS stop into Le Stuff on a market day. I still regret leaving behind a midcentury entertainment unit last year, but the window displays and vendors always take it up a notch for the market crowds.
