This weekend, two very alluring candidates for Washington County elected positions.  Both Nafisa Fai and Myrna Munoz are inviting all interested parties to come to their campaign launch parties this weekend.  The Herald is tracking these two and other candidates and believes both are offering very strong platforms based on the rights and best interests of residents struggling to get by in Washington County.  We will do a more complete review of their candidacy, but based on an informed view, these two stand out for supporting local jobs and businesses while putting power rates, education, housing, and real-world impacts for everyone who lives in Washington County first!

We strongly recommend that you get to know these two outstanding candidates!

Myrna Munoz for Oregon State Senate
Myrna Munoz for Oregon State Senate – You are invited to her Launch Party
Myrna Muñoz is running against Senator Janeen Sollman in the Democratic primary in Oregon’s 15th Senate District!
Myrna is an amazing, inspiring candidate in many ways, including the fact that she opposes bringing land into Hillsboro through the legislature. If we want to avoid fighting this fight every year for the next four years, Myrna’s our champion! She is an educator, a strong voice for her community, and someone who listens.
Come meet Myrna at her Launch Party on Sunday, March 1 from 6:00 to 7:30 PM with a short program from 6:30-7:00 PM at Pelagic Brewing: 1921 21st Ave., Forest Grove, OR 97116.
We hope to see you there!

Both of these ladies are Liberal Democrats. While they may be better than what we have now I wouldn’t expect much.
If elected Ms. Myrna would be one small voice in a pack of wolves-den of thieves-belly of the beasts. Ms. Nafisa will eventually blend in and dance to Pam Treece’s song. IOW, I’m yawning at these two candidates because they will not represent those of us, 45%, who have been screwed over for many years in a ONE Party state!

We have to hold everyone accountable. I am one doing it in a very real way. So for me, these two will hear me and others and we will focus on working with them and holding them accountable. We either try some new leaders or we don’t-

      Manuel,
I understand your frustration but you do realize that Nafisa is running against Treece, right? I was at her event last night, and I can tell you that “dancing to Pam’s song (or Janeen’s)” isn’t what Nafisa is about.

      Cheers
