In early April, three local leaders running for public office announced a petition calling for a Moratorium on Data Centers here in Washington County. Their brave stance is now being followed by other candidates and electeds, which is a good outcome. But what would a Moratorium look like? How would it work? Is it even possible?
Everyone is invited to come out, participate, and be heard on these pressing issues, which have transformed our county, doubled our power rates, and seriously affected our way of life. The candidates leading this petition and the Moratorium are Kipperlyn Sinclair, who is running for Washington County Commissioner; Senate District 15 candidate Myrna Munoz; and Dr. Tammy Carpenter, who is running for House District 27. They want you to attend, listen to the experts, and have your concerns heard! And the event is in a relaxed environment at Steeplejack Beer right along US 26 and the Data Center Alley.

Here is an invitation and more information-
